Un lunedì di impegni istituzionali

I Giochi dei Piccoli Stati d’Europa 2017 entreranno nel vivo ufficialmente con la Cerimonia d’Apertura delle 21 di lunedì 29 maggio ma in realtà per la giornata di domani sono in programma numerosi incontri ufficiali fin dalle prime ore del mattino.

Lunedì 29 maggio alle 8.30 a Palazzo Graziani scatta l’Assemblea Generale dell’organizzazione dei Giochi dei Piccoli Stati d’Europa. Alle 11.00 sarà invece la volta dei Ministri dello Sport degli 8 Stati ospiti che assieme al Segretario di Stato per lo Sport della Repubblica di San Marino Marco Podeschi si riuniranno per circa due ore al termine delle quali (alle ore 13, sempre a Palazzo Graziani) incontreranno la stampa.

Un pranzo di lavoro con i vertici del Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Sammarinese precederà l’Udienza Ufficiale che gli Eccellentissimi Capitani Reggenti Mimma Zavoli e Vanessa D’Ambrosio concederanno alle ore 17.30 a Palazzo Pubblico al Presidente del Comitato Olimpico Internazionale Thomas Bach (che arriverà sul Titano attorno alle 16), ai Capi di Stato e ai Ministri dello Sport dei paesi ospiti, al Presidente dei Comitati Olimpici Europei Yanez Kocijancic e ai vertici dei Comitati Olimpici di Andorra, Cipro, Islanda, Liechtenstein, Lussemburgo, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro e ovviamente San Marino.

Alle 18, in Udienza Privata a Palazzo Pubblico (sala del Consiglio dei XII) il Presidente del CIO Thomas Bach sarà insignito dai Capitani Reggenti dell’onorificenza  di Commendatore dell’Ordine Equestre di Sant’Agata.

dopodiché si sposterà al San Marino Stadium per la Cerimonia d’Apertura che prenderà il via alle 21.00.

A Monday of institutional commitments

The Games of the Small States of Europe 2017 will officially start with the Opening Ceremony of 9pm of May 29th, but in fact the first day of Games is full of official meetings scheduled since the early hours of the morning.

On Monday, 29 May, at 8.30am at Palazzo Graziani starts the General Assembly of the Organization of the Games of the Small States of Europe. At 11.00 will be the turn of the Ministers of Sport of the 8 states that together with the Secretary of State for Sport of the Republic of San Marino Marco Podeschi will meet for about two hours at the end of which (at 13, always at Palazzo Graziani) they will meet the press.

A working lunch with the tops of the Sammarinese National Olympic Committee will precede the Official Audience that the Captains Regent Mimma Zavoli and Vanessa D’Ambrosio will give at 5.30pm, at Palazzo Pubblico, to the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach (coming to San Marino around 4pm), the Heads of State and Ministers of Sport of the 9 countries, to the President of the European Olympic Committees Yanez Kocijancic and to the members of the Olympic Committees of Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro and, of course, San Marino.

At 6pm, in Private Audience at Palazzo Pubblico (Room of Consiglio dei XII), the President of CIO Thomas Bach will be awarded by the Captain Regents of the main honor of San Marino for foreign people (Commendatore dell’Ordine Equestre di Sant’Agata), after which he will move to the San Marino Stadium for the Opening Ceremony that will start at 9 pm.
