Aprono la cerimonia delle Giornate Medievali 2014 nell’affascinante cornice della Cava dei Balestrieri l’immancabile Federazione Balestrieri Sammarinesi con danze, Sbandieratori, Musici e Figuranti che danno il benvenuto all’arrivo dei Gruppi Storici che si esibiranno il giorno dopo nel “Torneo della Libertà” , 6° Campionato Assoluto di Arco Storico Italiano organizzato dalla Cerna dei Lunghi Archi di San Marino in collaborazione con LAM (Lega Arcieri Medievali). E ancora per la prima volta a San Marino i fantastici Arcieri Ungheresi, nella Cava dei Balestrieri, a loro l’onore di accendere il Sacro Fuoco e si esibiranno in canti e danze a ritmo di musica popolare mentre con maestria tramandata da secoli scoccheranno le loro frecce. E ancora una volta il grande e atteso ritorno del gruppo San Giorgio e il Drago che trasporterà sin dal mattino con le sue meravigliose avventure i vostri bambini nel Regno di Camelot alla tavola del Re Artù. Burattini, Giullari, Musici, Illusionisti, Giocolieri, Mangiafuoco e Tamburi in corteo animeranno le vostre fantasie catapultandovi nel entusiasmante mondo del MedioEvo.

In the charming setting of the Cava dei Balestrieri the 2014 Medieval Days will be opened by the San Marino Crossbow Federation with dancing, flag- waiving, music and atmosphere actors who will welcome the arrival of Historical Groups that will perform the next day in the “Tournament of Freedom”, 6th Absolute Championship of Historic Italian Crossbow organized by the Cerna dei Lunghi Archi of San Marino in collaboration with LAM (Medieval Crossbow men League). And again for the first time in San Marino, in the Cava dei Balestrieri, the fantastic Hungarian Bowmen which will have the honor to light the Holy Fire and will perform songs and dances to the beat of popular music while shooting their arrows. And once again the great and long-awaited return of the group of San Giorgio and the Dragon that will lead your children to the morning with its marvellous adventures in the Kingdom of Camelot to the table of King Arthur. Puppets, Musicians, Illusionists, Jugglers, Fire eaters and parade of drums will animate your fantasies and bring you back to the exciting world of the Medieval days.
